New website for leading construction company
Having previously transitioned Rainbow Skylight to a digital marketing strategy which turned its website into the company's primary source of leads, I led the site's redesign to build on these gains.
An initial workshop with management helped us identify the brand's core values, and define the requirements for the new site:
- Benefits, not features: Rather than technical specs and feature lists, the new site highlights the effectiveness of the company's products and services.
- Useful: The old site's content structure, based on the company's product catalogue, was difficult to navigate. The new site's reorganised structure is easier to understand, while providing professionals with the technical documents they need.
- Simple: We rewrote the site's copy to emphasise customer needs, and replaced technical jargon with simple terminology for easy navigation.
- Responsive: Need I add to this? The old site, built in 2008, while not broken on mobile devices, was not designed for small screens.
